Monroe Models was founded by Bruce Monroe. Bruce has been a life long
model maker and more importantly, model railroad builder. After
graduating from Bemidji State University with a degree in Industrial
Technology with emphasis areas in Model Building, Manufacturing Management,
and Industrial Design, he embarked in a career of model making and
design.
Monroe Models was started as a custom model making business and later as a
manufacture of model railroad kits. We also designs models
for architectural, prototype, and display purposes. Bruce and his
company have produced hundreds of kits, parts, molds, castings, etc.
for other hobby industry manufactures for more than 17 years. They
have been manufacturing their own line of Model Railroad kits for more
than 9 years.
Monroe Models has increased their capacity to produce quality models by
adding in house laser cutting services along with producing model masters,
production molds, urethane castings, hydrocal castings and spin cast metal
